On Growing Up

As a born and bred native San Franciscan, I have spent my whole life in SF, from being born at the Chinese Hospital in Chinatown, growing up in the Richmond District, and now residing in the Sunset with my family. I attended Lowell High School and graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts.

On Forging a Career Path

I have been an administrative support professional for 16+ years, working in various industries such as beauty, construction, and wealth management. In addition to my corporate career, I was also a sales professional for a retail store for over 25 years.

As a California commissioned Notary Public for over 13 years, I started my own notary business, FLS Notary Services, in July 2021. My path to entrepreneurship would not have been possible were it not for the customer service and administrative skills I’ve acquired throughout my work life.

On Working at Amplify

As Office Manager for our San Francisco office, I had a hand in setting up, furnishing, and occupying 457 Bryant St. on my very first day at Amplify. Since I am on-site every weekday, the Office is quite literally like my second home where I welcome and host our guests, making sure that our space is immaculate and client-ready at all times.

Coming from bigger, corporate firms, I appreciate a smaller, tight-knit Amplify Team where we are able to bond and collaborate so closely with one another. In the time that I’ve been here, I have learned and grown so much.

On Life Outside of Work

I am passionate about baking and cake decorating, so it makes perfect sense that I am a Volunteer Baker for Cake4Kids. I am proud and honored to collaborate with such a worthwhile organization that brings smiles to underprivileged children on their special occasions.

As an advocate of continuous improvement and learning, I’ve attained my Professional Administrative Certificate of Excellence (PACE). To keep my designation, I periodically take relevant courses that earn CEUs and keep me current on the latest tools and technology that aid in administrative work.
