John N. Stewart formed and leads Cisco’s Security and Trust Organization. His mandate includes protecting Cisco’s customers, ensuring the security and trustworthiness of Cisco’s product portfolio, and protecting the Cisco enterprise from ever-evolving cyber threats. In addition to his role at Cisco, John serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the National Cyber-Forensics Training Alliance, on the Australian Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet Cyber Security Review panel, and on the Cybersecurity Think Tank at the University of Maryland University College. He previously served on the CSIS Commission on Cybersecurity for the 44th United States Presidency. Recent recognitions include the RSA 2015 Award for Excellence in Security, the global 2014 Golden Bridge Award for CISO of the Year, and the CSO 40 Silver Award for Chief Security Officer of the Year in 2014. John has an MS in Computer and Information Science from Syracuse University.
